Alacritas Advisers, LLC is seeking qualified, mission driven professionals, who seek fractional or interim consulting roles in the nonprofit and faith-based sectors.

Advisers who are deeply motivated by serving others while also believing in the need to help those organizations improve are the people for which we are looking. Advisers are given the freedom to use their skills and talents within a team setting to help others. Currently, there are three types of positions open:

 

Senior Practice Director: Senior Practice Directors lead and oversee one or more client engagements and provide direct counsel to the most senior organizational leaders. For this reason, the role requires 15+ years of experience working with nonprofits, faith-based groups, or institutions of higher education. This role requires 50% travel (outside of COVID-19 restrictions) when leading multiple engagements.

 

Practice Director: Practice Directors oversee and focus on one client engagement at a time and, along with the Senior Practice Director, provide counsel to the most senior organizational leaders. The Practice Director is the consultant who provides consulting services while also overseeing day-to-day operations of the engagement. For this reason, the role requires 5+ years of experience working with nonprofits, faith-based groups, or institutions of higher education. This role requires 65% travel (outside of COVID-19 restrictions) while leading an engagement.

 

Practice Consultant: Practice Consultants are directly involved and become so on the first day of the engagement. Each day the practice consultant works with the Practice Director to ensure the work is properly planned and focused. Activities include client interviewing, research, data analysis, and preparation of critical client-facing documents. This role is ideal for individuals with up to five years of experience, although those with longer work tenures are welcome to apply. This role requires 65% travel (outside of COVID-19 restrictions) while working on an engagement.

 

Engagement Coordinator: The Engagement Coordinator, a key consulting team member, maintains and monitors communication, orderly workflow processes, and facilitates reporting during client engagements. At the outset of each client engagement a structure is established that enables the Engagement Coordinator to monitor the timeline, scope of work, and deployment of consultants. The cornerstone of this role is facilitating clear communication between consultants and clients.
